The power of teamwork and collaboration
We value dialogue and creating environments where our differences are supported and celebrated. Your experience will be most rewarding when you have a growth mindset to learn about yourself, your students, partners and the world around us.
Learning & Development at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Detroit will include:
- intervention curriculum training in partnership with Detroit Public Schools Community District;
- relationship building, social-emotional support and tutoring strategy training;
- diversity, belonging, inclusion and equity workshops. Through deliberate listening, learning and self-examination, we seek to work in partnership with our communities, AmeriCorps members, staff and alumni to put what we are learning into practice;
- collaborative networking with peers doing similar service across the city of Detroit (in programs such as Grade Level Cohorts, Affinity Groups, Coordinator Role Meetings);
- local and national guest speakers;
- career services and networking opportunities.
