Enriching afterschool experiences for middle school students.
The New York Life Foundation is supporting Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s multiyear initiative to standardize and scale its middle school afterschool program. Through support from the New York Life Foundation, Â鶹ÊÓƵ has improved its afterschool offerings by developing a national afterschool framework that is providing high-quality afterschool opportunities for students in under-resourced schools. Together, we are helping to ensure that students build critical interpersonal and workforce readiness skills, like teamwork, by embedding skills coaching and developmental experiences in the afterschool program. At full scale, it will have the potential to impact an estimated 150,000 middle school students and be a key component of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s strategy to keep students in school and on track to graduation.
