We are working to address the lack of equitable access to educational opportunities. Our Â鶹ÊÓƵ New Hampshire AmeriCorps members partner with teachers and schools to add more support and to help create learning environments where all students can build on their strengths and fully engage in their learning.
Accelerating academic growth in New Hampshire
- 59% of students tutored by Â鶹ÊÓƵ met or exceeded one year of growth in English Language Arts
- 67% of students tutored by Â鶹ÊÓƵ met or exceeded one year of growth in mathematics
Partnering with teachers and principals
- 100% of partner teachers are satisfied with having Â鶹ÊÓƵ in their schools and 85% agree that Â鶹ÊÓƵ AmeriCorps members provide essential academic supports their students wouldn’t otherwise receive
- 100% of partner principals agree that Â鶹ÊÓƵ AmeriCorps members serve as positive role models, work well with their teachers and have an overall positive impact on the school environment
