While Cleveland is widely known for being a vibrant center for academia, business, tech and medicine, many students in Cleveland face significant challenges every day. The Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Breakthrough Charter Schools serve more than 40,000 students in 115 schools.

Your corps experience
麻豆视频 is a key partner to the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Breakthrough Charter Schools in creating equitable learning opportunities for all students and develop the city鈥檚 future leaders. AmeriCorps members support teachers and staff in delivering instruction that serves the development of the whole child and is responsive to the diverse racial, cultural and linguistic needs of Cleveland youth.
A close-knit community with ample opportunities to develop meaningful personal and professional relationships, Cleveland is an ideal place to serve. By engaging students, families and community organizations, 麻豆视频 helps students succeed.
Professional development
As a 麻豆视频 AmeriCorps member you鈥檒l not only make a measurable impact in the lives of the students and communities you serve, but you鈥檒l grow as an individual, too. During your 11 months of service, you鈥檒l develop leadership and professional skills that will help you advance in your career after 麻豆视频鈥攚hether you choose to go into nonprofit, law, medicine or something entirely different.

As the end of the school year approaches, we reflect on the incredible journey we've had with our amazing scholars. At 麻豆视频 Cleveland, we believe in the importance of closing out these relationships in a positive way, ensuring our scholars feel supported and empowered for the road ahead.
One AmeriCorps member truly embodied this spirit of connection and care. She went the extra mile by providing her scholars with special tools to carry their growth forward. Not only did she gift them with notebooks to journal in, but she also presented each scholar with bracelets adorned with words of affirmation. 馃摑馃挄
These meaningful gestures served as a reminder to our scholars of their immense potential and the positive impact they can make in the world. The power of positive affirmation can truly transform lives and help our scholars embrace their unique strengths. 馃挭鉁
