Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is proud to partner with Teachers College, Columbia University, the oldest, largest and most comprehensive graduate school of education in the United States, offering one annual 25% tuition scholarship.

Teachers College, Columbia University offers Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

25% scholarship

The scholarship award will be equal to 25% of tuition for one Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ applicant per year towards a master’s degree program. Only new, incoming students are eligible for scholarship consideration. Continuously enrolled students are not eligible to be considered for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff employed for at least two years.

The scholarship described above represents the minimum award; applicants will be considered for additional merit-based aid depending on the academic strength of their application.

  • Application fee waiver
  • Enrollment deferral: Space permitting, Teachers College will allow deferrals for up to one year if accepted applicants decide to serve additional time with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship

To get the application fee waived, applicants must select the “Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ” option located in the additional information section of the application. The question reads, “Are you an alumnus/a of or currently participating in one of the following?”

The scholarship application will become available on your “application status” page after you submit your application for admission. The financial aid office will contact Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ applicants when the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Scholarship application is available.
