Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management offers Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ AmeriCorps members, alums and staff
50% scholarships
The Heller School is pleased to offer guaranteed partial-tuition scholarships equal to at least 50% of tuition for all Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ applicants admitted to a qualifying master’s degree program.
Scholarships will be provided in lieu of the Segal Education Award match.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ applicants are highly encouraged to apply for —100% tuition scholarships awarded for one of Heller’s master’s degree programs to incoming full-time applicants who demonstrate commitment to national service through their academic, professional and/or personal lived experiences.
Scholarships are awarded to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff employed for at least two years.
The scholarships described above represent the minimum awards; applicants will be considered for additional merit-based aid depending on the academic strength of their application.

To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship
To get the application fee waived and be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Heller School (specify which program)” in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and your AmeriCorps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent back to you to upload to the online application.
