Who Is Marlowe Aster?

Visionary, Author,  Metaphysical Coach and Sacred Living Specialist, Marlowe Aster lives in Australia and has polished her craft for over 30 years.

Self employed since 1993, Marlowe is trained in Psychology, Adult Learning, Spiritual Counseling,  Metaphysics, Reiki and Feng Shui. 

She weaves her skills and passions together in unique combinations.  Her own Destiny is shaping up to be a connector, an information disseminator and a way-shower,  helping women to step forward into their next phase of magnificent and empowerd unfolding.  Her identified archetype is as Fairy Godmother.

Marlowe particularly feels drawn to support women who feel ready to make a difference and who have quite likely made a start, but who may now feel overwhelmed or whose confidence in themselves may have taken some hits.  Marlowe’s purpose is to help them clear their doubts and clear their mental and life clutter that block their path to awakened and inspired leadership.

In fact, I’ve devoted over 30 years to understanding Energy from as many different perspectives as I can.

I’ve gone through various phases in trying to understand this Life Source energy and all its facets.

Each phase was a distinct calling and I had no idea what the subsequent directions would be.

First, I went through a strong Spiritual and Metaphysical Immersion, where I tried to sort out my own place in the Universe.  In this stage, I tackled all those ‘Meaning of Life’ and ‘What’s the point’ type of questions.  As a melancholy and confused young Piscean woman, life was very painful and chaotic for me at that time, and my learning was literally a life saver!

Next, I went through a Psychological Immersion, where I spent some years in psychotherapy, and eventually got my degree in psychology.  In this phase, I learned about the filters of our perception, how they are created and how they can be changed.  I learned about the stickiness of the Ego, and the harsh critic of the SuperEgo.  There was also a simultaneous immersion in learning about Feminism, and how cultures have suppressed women’s power throughout history.

My third phase was an Intuitive Immersion.  I rejected the left-brain world of academic and service-based psychology to plunge in to the right-brain intuitive world.  Here I learned to craft together my Spiritual and Psychological wisdom by reading Tarots  for a living – something I always have referred to as my ‘sneaky counselling’ period.  Because normal people don’t ever feel like they need counselling, but they are more inclined to come and have their Tarots read, when they feel unsettled in their lives.  I also studied Reiki, culminating in Reiki Mastership, and developed my clair-sentient abilities.  I discovered I was a ‘knower’ rather than a seer or a hearer.

Next came an integrative phase where I drew upon both my left-brain and right-brain strengths, and dove into a full blown Feng Shui Immersion.  I studied the finer points of this Ancient Chinese discipline and became a qualified practitioner.  I studied initially  with Australian Master, Roger Green, then with Imperial Feng Shui Master, Kwai Lan Chan.  I have also taken courses with Suzee Miller and Joey Yap.

My Feng Shui studies led me into the eco and sustainability fields, and alternatives to traditional homes.  I also became fascinated at the intimate and reciprocal realtionship between Home and Self, and  I refer to this as my Place Psychology Immersion, which is still something very dear to my heart.

At each immersion, I would carry forward what I had learned in my previous stage, like adding ingredients to a stock recipe and allowing it all to simmer.  And about this time, the internet was starting to come in as a creative tool for people like me with so much knowledge to share.  So it was kind of inevitable that my next stage was an Internet Business Studies Immersion.  But because of the spiritual nature of my passions, it took a long time for me to find an authentic way of presenting myself and my work into the world.

However, with magnificent teachers like Elizabeth Genco Purvis and Kendall Summerhawk to show the way,  I have now settled strongly into my  Sacred Feminine Leader Immersion.

Woven throughout all these immersions were the themes of my own personal struggles and issues:  Life Purpose, Relationships, Money and Abundance,  Success, and How To Live A Sacred Life In The Everyday World.  As a result, I certainly have a well rounded understanding of each of these from a number of different perspectives!

Currently,  I am assembling the online infrastructure to offer various courses, classes and personal mentoring to support those who feel drawn to guide the human transition into a new Cosmic Era in various ways.  I am here to support women who feel called to make a difference in the direction our planet and society is heading.

I’ve been passionately involved with the topic of how the humble home impacts on our psyche for quite a number of years now, building on my initial expertise in psychology by laying over  further studies in Feng Shui, Architectural Psychology,  Green Psychology, Colour Therapy and Energy Therapies.

After over a decade of studies, I am convinced that your home plays a much larger part in your life than anyone has ever recognised, in terms of your health, your self image, your wellbeing, your attitudes and motivation, your energy levels, and your ability to move your life where you wish it to be.

I am excited that I can help you to recognise and navigate through various environmental factors that stop most people from becoming all they could be.

Where in the world does Marlowe Aster live?

I live in beautiful Townsville (named after Mr Towns, ;p) on the tropical coast in North East Australia.  At latitude 19, we are closer to the equator than Hawai’i, and a similar latitude to Mumbai in India, and Mexico City.  So the temperature varies between steamy in summer and balmy in winter.
